  1. UPDATING.
  2.  
  3. Automatically,
  4. Pull down the "Update," menu and select "ON," or
  5. "OFF." Also in this menu is the time interval between
  6. updates. You can change the time delay simply by
  7. selecting the new time period you require. While
  8. auto-updating is turned on you should see the
  9. "CAT system," light on your rig flash on and off.
  10.  
  11. Manually,
  12. Chose the update level you require by selecting the
  13. new level from the menu, either FULL update, the
  14. current Display or both VFOs. Then just click on the
  15. word "UPDATE," bottom  lefthand corner of the main
  16. display. This will force the transceiver to  send
  17. it's data block to the stack.
  18.  
  19. METER,
  20. Selecting "ON," will display the current meter
  21. setting. When receiving this will be the receive
  22. signal level while in transmit this will depend on
  23. the setting of the METER switch on the front of your
  24. rig.

  26. Display Brightness,
  27. Selecting one of the settings will change the
  28. brightness of the rig's display, Bright, Medium
  29. or Dim.
